About Trey for Texas website

Trey for Texas is a campaign website for Trey Holcomb to help District 12 of Texas to decide on who to vote for in the coming elections. “Any issue can be solved with more liberty” is Trey’s battlecry and this page shows more of his advocacies.

As per the youtube video Philosophy of Liberty, a flash animation posted in the website, “The Philosophy of Liberty is based on the principle of self-ownership. You own your own life. To deny this is to imply that another person has a higher claim on your life than you do. No other person or group of persons owns your life, nor do you own the lives of others.” –

About Trey Holcomb’s Campaign Platform

On the About page of treyfortexas.vote, a personal background of Trey Holcomb can be seen. Trey is a life-long Texan. He is a native of the Fort Worth, Texas area (Watauga and Haltom City). After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in 1997, Trey had been coaching high school football and baseball, alongside over 21 years of experience teaching history and other social studies classes all over Texas, including Royse City, Fritch, Quanah, Tolar, and of course, Fort Worth.

It was mentioned in the website that Trey, being a voracious reader and having a strong passion for freedom, has been an activist since 2012. For almost a decade now, he has been advocating for human liberty. He believes that public trust is sacred, and in a representative government, all representatives and government officials must be held to the highest standards of behavior.

The Trey for Texas website also notes that above all things, Trey is a follower of Jesus. He believes that government officials should conduct their actions on the people’s behalf according to the principle of “Love thy neighbor”. Trey is now almost 50 years old and continuing his career as a government teacher. He is very happily married to his best friend, Manda, going two decades this summer.

The website also provides the visitor where Trey stands on Issues like the The National Debt, The Federal Reserve, the Foreign Policy, the Economic Policy, The 2nd Amendment, and the Warrantless Government Surveillance.

The Trey for Texas website also provides the difference between Trey and his incumbent competitor, Kay Granger. As per the website, since 1997, for more than two decades, Kay Granger has repeatedly been in office and Trey does not dream of seeking re-election if ever he wins the election. Trey himself has a self-imposed term limit. He aspires to give the best quality of public service during the time entrusted to him.

The website also states that one decade ago, during the Obama administration, Kay Granger voted “No” to increase Debt Ceiling by $300 Billion, however,  in 2020, she voted “Yes” on a bill that cost $2 Trillion. This time, it’s under the Trump administration. Trey Holcomb is firm on his stance that no matter who the President is, he will never vote to increase the debt of his country. Trey is one with the people who believe that we should put an end to the wars, the Fed, the unfair Income Tax, and the Drug War. And these principles make Trey Holcomb better than Kay Granger as per the website. And these are the reasons why people should trade in Kay Granger for Trey Holcomb.

The website also asks people to contribute to the campaign of Trey Holcomb by clicking the link that will bring the visitors to the raising fund. The treyfortexas.vote website also informs the visitor the currently leading in terms of the campaign. The website informs the visitors that Trey Holcomb outnumbered the other candidate, the Democrat Lisa Welch, but still behind Kay Granger.
